From the United States comes a rather “curious” experiment: two bloggers, Margaret Badore and Katherine Martinko, have in fact tried to live 20 days by washing their hair only with water and bicarbonate . What happened?

In particular, the newspaper continues, “Margaret and Katherine mixed baking soda with water and washed their hair normally in the shower: their hair, after 20 days of treatment, became incredibly brighter” . In short, washing your hair for three weeks only with water and bicarbonate would have represented a fundamental change lever to improve the aesthetic appearance of your hair, despite the promised results of shampoo , conditioner and other products. much more expensive than a traditional (and very cheap!) bicarbonate.

Not only that: according to what documented by bloggers, there are other similar methods that can lead to not different results. A further variant of the method, for example, involves the use of sodium bicarbonate and vinegar, perfectly mixed together: the results, even in this case, are very satisfactory.

Katherine, one of the two bloggers, commented that “bicarbonate did a fabulous job of cleaning my hair , it was shiny, degreased. When I used the shampoo I had a much bigger ball of curly hair, now it is much easier to treat. ” Indeed, at least judging from this widespread image to try to demonstrate the good results of the experiment, the steps forward would be truly considerable. Our advice is of course to try any natural techniques, but “be careful” not to overdo it: applying products that you do not know the outcome on, or which could be aggressive, could not bring benefits, but also – and above all – rather serious prejudices.

In short, also in this case the usual rule of caution applies: experimenting yes, but without this corresponding to a potential danger to the health of the crown. Having said that, try experimenting with some good recipes, and let us know how it went!
